Creed Thompson and Davin Thompson, both sophomores from Brigham Young, were among a quartet of four competitors that all crossed the finish line of the men's collegiate 7.5-kilometer race within one-tenth at the inaugural Run Elite Program Cross Classic at Valley Regional Park in Taylorsville, Utah. Creed Thompson was credited with the victory in 22:08.6 and Davin Thompson finished fourth in 22:08.7.
