Brandon Garnica, a senior, and junior Casey Clinger of Brigham Young finished fifth and sixth overall in the men's race at the NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional at the University of New Mexico North Golf Course in Albuquerque. Garnica covered the 10-kilometer layout in 28:01.1 and Clinger clocked 28:01.4 for BYU, which placed five scorers in the top 22 despite resting three runners, taking second overall with 54 points.
