BYU juniors Erica Birk-Jarvis and Courtney Wayment placed third and ninth in the women's 6-kilometer race at the NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional at East Bay Golf Course in Provo, Utah. Birk-Jarvis clocked 19:34.9 and Wayment ran 20:01.7 for BYU, which placed third for the second year in a row with 85 points to earn a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships, scheduled for Nov. 17 in Madison, Wisc.
