BYU freshman Casey Clinger placed third in the men's 8-kilometer race in 23:29 at the West Coast Conference Championships at Metropolitan Links Golf Course in Oakland, Calif. Clinger helped the Cougars sweep the top five spots for the first time since joining the conference in 2011, with all five athletes separated by less than seven seconds to secure BYU's third consecutive title and fifth in seven seasons.
